Hello Gyrines! I served from 1967 to 1978. I was a 2542 then a 2549 - Comm Center then Comm Center Chief. I never served in a unit for long and never twice. After schooling, I went to HQ FMFLant, NORVA; MWCS1, 1st MAW Danang RVN; Station Comm Center, MCAS Beaufort; MAG 32 MCAS Beaufort SC; 3rd FSR, Camp Foster, OKI; Station Comm Center, MCAS Cherry Point, NC; and then independent duty with DCA-Europe, Patch Barrack, Stuttgart, Germany. I left the Corps after 11 1/2 years.

Welcome aboard Gunny!

It looks like my service in the Marines overlapped yours a couple of years at the end of your service. Mine was West Coast duty though.

I suspect you've got a couple of years on me and I am no kid myself. Don't worry there are plenty of folks here that have got a few years on you too.

Anyway, look forward to hearing from you in the future and thank you for your service!
