Default BLT 2/6 Ribbons And Medals

Hello. Had a 2 year break from posting. I felt I was spending to much time on the computer.

I was the Jr. PFC while in India Battery in Beirut. Others had me beat time in service by one day. For the era we were quite decorated. I believe Hotel 3/10 landed in Grenada and fought as Infantry. They did not bring their M198's ashore.

India used the WW2 era M114a2 abnd brought six of them.

Great to see you here M250. I know I am not the only one here that missed seeing your posts from mil.com.

Your posts were often service related, which is the kind I like. Too much political discussion can wear me out.

Welcome!

I see, oh well we cannot get enough artillery men in here either.

The Machine gunners (mos 0331) that served alongside us in the infantry in the 70's carried m60's machine guns that were also 7.62 mm like the M250's. I just assumed the M250 took the place of the m60 and I must be wrong.

Does anyone here know what the 0331's carried after the m60's were removed from Marine Infantry units? This would have been after I completed my active duty in the USMC.
