My dog...

Week before last...

I was picking up pinecones and fallen limbs getting ready to cut grass and was letting our dog run loose in the yard. He was running back and forth and squatted to poop. He ran the other way and did it again, and then even a third time. That time, he looked at me, looked at his butt, and looked at me again with a funny look.
That got my attention. He had something hanging out his rear that looked like a rope dragging on the ground.
Well holy smokes, I couldn't leave that poor dog like that.
So, I grabbed him and choked him and gave that rope a tug.
He ran a ways and just stopped.
I thought, did he just run out of gas?

I don't know why he ate that piece of rope.
I sure hope he doesn't find another one...

OMG!

I bet if someone choked you and then ripped a rope out of your ass, you would do the same...

How long was this rope?

Actually, I didn't choke him. That was just for dramatic effect of pulling a rope and his running kinda like an engine after. Happy dog.

The rope was maybe a foot long.
The idea of pulling a rope out of a dog's ass is just something I could never have imagined if I was living since the beginning of time.
