First Navy SEABEE to earn MOH in NAM.

On 10 June, 1965 while building DONG XOAI Special Forces CAMP, 6 KM NORTH OF DONG XOAI.
SeaBee CMA3 Marvin G. Shields earned the MEDAL OF HONOR for his actions during an attack on the new camp.

One of the Army personnel also earned the MOH during this same battle.
