The name Skivvy Stacker reminds me of a Marine poster from way back whose moniker was Fart Sack.

"Skivvy Stacker"; comes from my time as a Supply Administration and Operations Man in the Marine Corps. I'm the guy who stacked supplies for distribution; everything from machine gun parts to skivvies.
As Six said, I was on his old site "Halls of Montezuma", and we are compadres on Facebook. I have actually met the man, and he's one fine, very, very LARGE Redneck of the finest caliber.
I do have to correct one thing though; I am NOT active duty CG. I am AUXILIARY CG. Up here in Minnesota, in the Minneapolis/St Paul area we only have about 5 or 10 active Coasties, and the same number of Reservists. The rest are Auxiliary (volunteer, civilian, non-payed). We are, for the most part, former military; average age around 55, and dedicated.
It's good to be here, and hope to get to know y'all.

Fart Sack! That was a term I learned in January 1965(K-45/L-45) on a small Island in Alameda Bay. Sheet like bag that covered the mattress. Still use the name to this day.

I was in sick bay for a week with tonsillitis, so started with K-45 and finish in L-45.

I had been a Sea Scout growing up in Port Angeles, Wa, so I got this award in boot camp being a nautical leg up on the others.

Submitted this picture and received the new Honor Grad ribbon a couple years ago.

Chris
