I tell everyone that I married my wife for the money.
I got married just before going to Vietnam.
So before I got married I got my base pay . . .
After I got married I got separation pay; housing pay; plus combat pay ... and I had no place to spend it.
My wife also had a job, so we was really 'rak'n-it-in' back then.

Things were so much cheaper before everyone was a millionaire, like now, I just saw they say 1 in 5 are millionaires so how does it feel guys, good?!! Housing is the main problem, it is impossible to afford a place on your own, without paying for life. Ppl buying little trailers to live in, and children not being born because they aren't affordable, or space is not there! Prices need to come down and real estate needs not to be everyone's scam!!

According to a recent NPR article I heard . . .

I did not know that the NFL was a "non profit" organization for many years. The government stepped in and forced the "NFL" to be the "profit" organization they really are . . . but the stadiums they play in are mostly "non profit" (build with tax payer dollars).

So ... if these multi-million dollar "entertainers" are disrespecting my country on "tax payer dollars" and still charging the 'general public' to come and watch 'em do it ... then I have a problem with that!

Default I'm on 10 weeks of boycotting the NFL

I'm on my 10th week of my boycott of NFL. Don't miss it in the slightest.

Today is the #1 day to boycott. Thanksgiving is a big football day. A boycott today will be showing them the error of their ways.

I don't support un-American whiners.

What gets me is the one that are protesting make more money than at least 100 of the less fortune people.. Why don't they donate part of there money to help the less fortunately..
They want things to change that will help go along way to helping..

My anger at the protest is that their protests are outright racist in my view.

Break down what all the different protest causes have in common. Not ideas or actions.
The protests all come together on one issue - the blame for their problems is just about anything that originated from the "white" or European cultures.

I find that when I actually talk to people that have a viewpoint or stance that angers me (provided I choose the right people to talk to), I can sometimes see where they're coming from. I might still disagree with it but I can understand. The kneeling thing is one of those issues, not enough to turn me off to an entire sport/organization.
