I know a lot "stuff" that I read about is "old news" but if only we had some of this "stuff" in Nam ...
Like the grenade launcher that shoots a grenade that you can time to go off just after it flies over the head of the enemy; so if they are hiding behind a brick wall, you can time it, fire it, and "BAM" right on top of 'em.

Some time after 1985 when I retired.... Although they may have been entering the inventory about then.

I will never forget the sound those mothers make. Sounds like a jet. Makes sense since it has a turbine engine.
