I looked it up and there are 17 states you can't harvest rain water , among some are California . Colorado , Arizona , and this is only just a few of them...

Yep! And it is stupid to have laws like that. Between the EPA and BLM, the actions are nothing more than another infringement on one's rights of freedom.

And I want to add that I feel for you. Ca. is one of those states, so you are screwed if the water supply is cut or compromised.

My son and I are looking seriously at moving to Boise, ID or just outside. I can't wait to get the hell out of this piece of shit state....Now that Brown has fucked it up even more who in their right mind would want to live here?

California has droughts. Why would they not let people collect rain water to use when the drought comes again? Pure stupid.
