Charles Paine pointed out this morning that it was based on bad decisions GM made over 2 years ago.
He also mentioned that GM shortchanged American taxpayers $11 billion from the bailout Obama gave them.

The above is from someone better informed than I on the GM bailouts.

You keep claiming you are highly educated.
How come it doesn't show?

You have been misinformed. SMH It was bush who gave it, not Obama. SMH

December 19, 2008: President Bush approved a bailout plan and gave General Motors and Chrysler $13.4 billion in financing from TARP (Troubled Assets Relief Program) funds.

The U.S. government spent about $50 billion to bail out GM. As a result of the company’s 2009 bankruptcy, the government’s investment was converted to a 61 percent equity stake in the Detroit-based automaker, plus preferred shares and a loan.

Are you forgetting the bankruptcy deal between Obama and GM CEO Fritz Henderson around June 2009?

Sweet deal...
Right?

If it’s working, your INCOMPETENT president takes credit.
If it’s failing, your RACIST president deflects the blame.

You really voted for this turd? SMH

Keep up with the times.
Your comments fit the last administration exactly.

Heck, you even try to put it on Bush about the bankruptcy. That deal was set up by Obama but you try to blame Bush.

Yeah the first round of bailouts came under Bush.

Sucks for those 14k workers. But it looks like from the rest of the posters here, they still voted correctly and Dear Leader has their vote.

The additional bailout, about half of all the bailouts came under Obama, didn't they?

And the deal for GM that stiffed taxpayers came under Obama as well...

The current set of layoffs are due to erroneous decisions by GM CEO which were decided before President Trump was even elected.
